* NEW * The Serious Consequences of Congress as a Target of Humorists

In 2011, Stephen Frantzich, U.S. Naval Academy, received a Michel Special Grant
from The Dirksen Congressional Center for a project entitled "The Serious
Consequences of Congress as a Target of Humorists." This exploratory research
is designed to analyze humorous representations correlated with public
knowledge and evaluation of Congress. Congressional representations seem like
fertile ground for testing a number of important hypotheses relevant both to
Congress and a broader understanding of the sources of public opinion toward
other political institutions. The research resulted in a teaching module now

Take a look at The Dirksen Center's Congressional Timeline 2.0!
http://www.congressionaltimeline.org

In October 2010, we announced the first version of The Dirksen Center's new
Congressional Timeline. At that time we introduced more than 200 examples of
major laws passed by Congress from 1933 to the present. As with any new
website, our first version had some bugs to work out. So considering our users'
feedback and taking a hard look at our first version, we have done our best to
improve the timeline by creating the Congressional Timeline 2.0.

I am working on a paper for a Masters course. I am trying to find
information on how teachers and other professionals feel about the use of
drugs for children with special education needs, for example Ritalin for
ADHD.

As you can imagine this is a rather sensitive topic and gathering
informatoin is not very easy since it is an issue that overlaps different
disciplines. Any information you can share will be very welcome.
