Wow! This is certainly a hot topic! Here's what is going on. Obviously we
have been using software that is not on this "approved" list. You probably
noticed that there is no Mac software on the list. There are lots of
software pieces that are missing.

What we are doing is trying to figure out just what kind of software is
out there. The list is just a beginning point that needs to be updated and
added to. So, we need to know what is being used out there. Preferably,
what has been used for a long time and has been successful for your
school.

I have attached a list of software that I've come up with off the top of
my head. Please feel free to communicate any software that I missed (I
know there are lots and lots). Once we get some information from the
schools, then the software can be tested and added to the good or bad
software list.

We need your assistance to get all this information. We are now doing what
should have been done a few years ago. Once it is in place then we can
monitor any new software being used in the district.
