I have been using epals.com almost since the beginning of the year
with my 5th and 6th ELP students. I find it very useful. We have
connected with a great class in Germany. The downside is that the teacher
has create the accounts and passwords, and has to approve each incoming
and outgoing message. AND, epals is so protected that you may only receive
mail from other epals groups.

I believe it's worth the effort. Students can access their accounts from
home, library, etc. They have enjoyed the experience, and it is very user
friendly for them. Ask if you have any questions I have not addressed.
