Hi Lab Aides,
Many of you are aware that the Ed Tech Portal page is no longer available. I became abruptly aware of this Tuesday morning when I started receiving calls and emails from schools. Below is an email from Nathan Myers, the teacher specialist from our department explaining what has transpired:

Monday night, as a step toward the finalization of our district-wide migration to the Architeck platform, all non-Architeck sites were discontinued and became inaccessible. The EdTech Portal was one of these sites. For over a year now, it has remained stagnant and has since fallen into a state of disrepair as we no longer have the internal resources to maintain it.

With the advent of Architeck, individual teachers and schools now possess the ability to add links, which they feel support and supplement the curriculum, to their respective web sites. It is our department's recommendation that teachers add such links, as needed, to their classroom websites in order to support what they are teaching in the computer lab and to serve as a resource both in and out of the classroom.

Though the time table for this event was moved forward by the changes in our network Monday night, the EdTech Portal is a service we can no longer support as a department due to limited resources. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Sincerely,

Nathan

Call me or Nathan if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Joe
