For those of you that have heard of GarageBand but haven't seen what
it can do there is the attached file.

A buddy of mine using OS X, GarageBand and a midi keyboard put the
music piece together in two hours right at his Mac. OS X supports
midi natively so all he had to add was the midi keyboard

The file needs Quicktime (Mac or PC) or iTunes to play it. It's a
purely instrumental piece and sounds like several different
instruments
