Failing the AR backup are :

Emerson

Screen captures are attached. Missing a screen capture is O'Connor as the
user was in AR at 12:38 pm today when the attempted backup occurred but not
tonight when I took the screen shots. The others as you can see are open for
hours. I do not know how users stay attached and have active connections for
hours if not days. If they are not active connections the 60 minute idle
time out logs them off.  Don from ET was checking on that problem with Ren
Learn.

I will manually launch the backup for the above schools to assure we have a
reliable backup. It is possible the backup will not finish by morning.


Since it is Sunday evening and the last chance for a good backup the file
services for the above schools are down. If your g4sever is down Monday
morning and you are NOT listed about call the help desk as you normally
would for a g4server problem. With file services off someone can not log in
to server and mess up the backup. The g4server is still running you just can
not login to it. My self or someone else will turn the services on Monday
morning. I hope to have the g4servers back on line by 8:30 at the latest. DO
NOT restart the g4server as this will not help and most likely will cause
problems. If you can not login to the g4server as normal by 8:30 report the
problem to the help desk at 2-0044. The helpdesk CAN NOT bring the servers
up only take the information.
