Lab techs and Liaisons,
This weekend had the most schools with backup errors in many weeks.

Just a little information on the backups. On the weekends the backup servers
try every 12 hrs to get a backup, this means each school is attempted many
times over the weekend. During the week each school gets one chance for a
backup. The good news is that the backup that ran Thursday night had no
errors as the server restart disconnects everyone.

The schools with errors in the RenLearn backup this weekend are:
Carson
Edison
Entz
Falcon Hill
Frost
Lowell
Salk

This means there was at least one computer connected the Renaissance data
all weekend.


I also must express my apologies to anyone who felt I was making a threat to
turn off the file servers on the weekends. It was not intended this way and
I am sorry if that is how it was perceived.
