This has nothing to do with IE and clip art, but I wanted to get this out
to everyone.
Hi Gang,
Once again, the bad guys are out there doing their very best to cause havoc
in our little corner of the universe. There is an e-mail spoof (spoof: any
scam that tries to trick a technology user in to infecting a machine or
network with a virus or worm) that you might receive, that appears to be
coming from PayPals directing you to run an e-mail attachment that will
update their account information and prevent a disrupting of service from
PayPals.
This spoof DID NOT come from PayPals. PayPals is a legitimate billing agent
that has been targeted by the spoof designer to take the fall for this
nefarious act. PLEASE do not attempt to open or run the attachment. Now I
know none of you would, but I would wager that all of you knows someone who
might just fall for this.
