Hello,

My job here at Wilson is a little different. I work 1.5 hours a day
because the teachers are pretty independant in the lab. Last year when we
had a 15 hour lab aide, they were pretty bored.

I got myself a Palm pilot, which I purchased on the Palm website and I got
an educational discount. I manage my tasks with my Palm task manager and
print out a weekly report of my tasks. If someone else were to take over,
then there is documentation as to what it is I do.

My Palm also helps a great deal for the occassion (usually daily) that a
staff member may see me out and about and has a request for help. I can
just make a note and attend to it when I can.

Mostly what I do is trouble shoot. I attempt to clear any issues with
machines or printers in the classrooms and in the Lab. I also download
software and hook up any new hardware. Getting everyone up on the online
AR was interesting.

I also bug the PTO for new computer equipment. LOL

I don't know if that helps or if that is what you were looking for but my
lab was pretty slow today so I had time to elaborate.
