ARD2 will be replacing Network Asst when OS X goes into the labs. And
no, I don't know when yet :)

Aside from it's ability to control Macs, ARD2 can control PCs that
have VNC installed. There has not been any full scale testing of
this. But I have tried it and it has a half second lag for
controlling PCs. With Macs it does fine. Apple is working on an
update to improve performance.
