If you have Appleworks 6, you can open word docs. It can even save to
word format. AW 5 can't. But in some cases AW6 does have a problem
opening a word doc. Use the applescript titled "open as word". Drag
and drop onto it and it will open. It is in the labtech folder on
g4is in mac>misc
