We also have a PC lab.  I open Carnival Countdown, click on guest, then GO,
then use CTRL+SHIFT+A to get to settings.  Then set up Preferences as you
want them (I click printer off).  Then go to GROW SLIDES tab, uncheck box
marked Remember progress from session to session.  Then go to USERS tab,
Remove all users except Guest and uncheck box Allow new users to add
themselves.  This has worked for me.  Good luck!
