Just wanted to pass on some information about g4 file server maintenance.
The servers need to be restarted a minimum of once a week. This will take
place at 4:15 to 4:30 every Thursday. The server will come backup in about
10 minutes. Please so not log on as the backup starts at 5. This is
something that has to happen  and there is not a good time to do this. It
has to be done during my normal working hours and before the backup starts
at 5 pm.  For those of you that are not aware of the backup schedule it runs
every week day at 5 pm and stops at 7 am, it runs all weekend from 5 pm
Friday to 7 am Monday, it is critical that the file servers not be used at
these times.
