Here are some articles with some helpful information. Clean hands and
covered open wounds are the most important things to worry about. Nag
your students to keep their hands out of their mouths, out of their noses
and keep their hands clean. Purell is helpful, but it doesn't always take
care of all the bacteria. I dealt with MRSA on a personal family level
for well over a year. The treatment for it once it hits the bloodstream
is months and months of IV antibiotics. It is everywhere, and good
hygiene is what prevents it from spreading.
