Hi Everyone!
Great news!  I just talked direct to Greg Smolkovich and here is a recap:

Right now only Title 1 schools are required to have the two year degree,

Computer Techs, aides, are exempt whether in a Title 1 school or not,  and

If you take the equivalency test, and fail, you DO NOT LOOSE YOUR JOB.  So far
he said that 7 people have taken this test and all 7 have passed.
