For those of you with Mac labs, you will have noticed all the network
time server error messages. That is because in an effrot to make the
g4 servers more reliable the time server on them was removed. But IS
now has a replacement.

The address is ntp1.mpsaz.org

You can use network asst to update your lab machines by first setting
the time server in the date&time control panel. Then just push the
date&time preference from the preference folder out to your Macs. And
for those of you that have your whole school set up on network
assistant, you can push that same preference out to all the Macs on
campus

For those of you with OS X labs, I'm still working out the ins and
outs of using ARD for this type of process. As for the Sophos
messages, that is another dept :)
