Hi All, Just a thought . . . anyone interested in putting together a
description of the websites from one of the portals on the edtech
website? For example, you'd choose one of the portals from the main page,
i.e., PreK-K, make a list of the names of all of the websites in that
portal, and write a short description of the website (this can often be
copied/pasted from the website itself). I would love to be able to do this
myself, but I just don't have the time. What I could do is compile the
list when it's finished, and post it in the FAQ section of the edtech
website. There are 12 main portals on the front page, and several portals
within those. If you're interested in doing any one of those, let me
know. If we get enough people, we're in business! Hey great things come
from great people, right? Is that a saying I heard somewhere?
Anyway, here's an example for PreK-K:
Beantime Stories: A selection of stories that includes pictures and words
to be read aloud to primary age children
ABC Game: A game where students select the object that starts with the
letter at the top of the page. Has a link to lots of other educational
games too.
Let me know what you think of this format too. Is it helpful, or should it
be arranged differently and have other information included?
