Hi Wendy,
We started the Kindergarten classes here at Las Sendas Elementary with
KidPix. We gave them a brief tutorial of what they can do in KidPix
(i.e., introduction to buttons on left of screen, changing colors, and
drawing objects using the pencil button) then we set them free to explore
what the program offers.
KidPix teaches them about double & single clicking, dragging objects, cut
& paste letters/numbers/stamps, holding their index finger on mouse button
to draw straight lines, curvy lines, squares, circles, etc., and working
with colors. All the moves to create a picture require the use of the
mouse. Some of the students found the typewriter button and began typing
letters.
I hope this helps,

I hope everyone had a safe summer. Does anyone have any suggestions for a
