HP printers have the greater issue, not problem, but issue. I had
some info from Lexmark that I am re-evaluating because so far all the
new Lexmark printers I have seen in use have appletalk.
We do have a cheap and easy (hopefully) solution that will start
testing soon. But based on preliminaries there will be no need for
concern and even if you do have a printer that would seem to be a
problem in most cases it can be worked around. With one exception
Please read carefully what OS is required for the printer for Macs.
Some of the new ones, a very few, are OS X only. To use these you
would need to upgrade to OS X. The cheap HP inkjets are this way. And
the entry level HP color laserjet, the 2600, is OS X only
There will be a list soon of what is safe
