Happy New Year!
Welcome back. As you are aware by now Information Systems is in the
process of updating all district computer web browsers to Internet Explorer 7.
This is a necessary step toward improving the response time of our network.
The update file is being delivered to computer desktops district-wide via the
Altiris system.

Due to the unique nature of our schools’ computer labs and their use of the
Deepfreeze software, the computers in the lab will not be included in this
initial upgrade phase. Information Systems is currently working to determine
the most efficient and effective way to address the unique needs of lab
computers. At this time, there is no action needed to be taken on your part
regarding the upgrade of lab computers to Internet Explorer 7.

See you soon!

Joe
