I appreciated whoever it was as the meeting that brought up the mouse
problem in Kid Pix. I was wondering if all of my mice needed to be
cleaned. Turning off FoolProof definitely solves the problem, but
here is an idea that is ALMOST as good, but still lets you keep
FoolProof active. I tried on a couple of machines and it looks like a
good solution. With FoolProof off, go to Apple/Control Panels/Mouse
and change the mouse tracking speed to SLOW. Then turn FoolProof back
on. After this adjustment, if you move the mouse a little slower
(which is what most of my younger ones do anyway), you can have the
control you need, especially with the rubber stamp tool.
