Could it have anything to do with Foolproof? I know when we first
installed Type to Learn, the kids would type in their names and the next
time they came to the lab their name would be gone. We had to go into Fool
Proof / Security Settings / File Control and remove files used by Type to
Learn from Foolproof's "locked" list. I would suggest checking Foolproof
and if *.MCF files are listed under the "locked files" - try removing it
and see if that works.
