From what I was told from my supervisor is the following.  No software
should be ordered and installed on the servers until it has been tested and
approved by Information Systems.  If the software is installed on the server
and it is not on the approval list, it will be removed from the server and
the site administator will be notified on who\what\when the software was
installed.
